* trixbox 2.2.x
- The 2.2 branch is at the end of its road. We will continue to support it via Asterisk/Zaptel updates probably through the end of June 2008. Once in a while we will roll a new ISO if there is demand for an updated ISO for new installs.
* trixbox 2.4.x
- Surprisingly enough, 2.4 is only an interim build for the 2.6 release. We needed to get the build system working, Asterisk/Zaptel dialed in, Faxing working, and all the other components together that make the system function.
* trixbox 2.6
- This release is scheduled for Jan 23rd 2008 and will begin our bi-yearly release schedule. There is a lot of cleanup code in the trixbox dashboard that is going into this build as well as some long-time bug fixes and a better look (some of which is in 2.4 already). Unlike going from 2.2 to 2.4, this is not going to be a forklift upgrade meaning a yum update or package manager update will take you from 2.4 to 2.6.
* trixbox 2.8(?)
- What will we have in September? Will it be a minor update to 2.6 or will it be a major change worthy of a 3.0 moniker? We hope to start answering these questions in Feb. and will be soliciting feedback in the forums and an upcoming developer forum as well as a series of webinars and focus groups.
