어쩌면 레고(Lego)사의 마인드스톰 로보틱스 인벤션 시스템(Mindstorm Robotics Invention System(RIS))이야말로 가장 저렴하게, 무리없이 로봇을 제작할 수 있는 키트일 지도 모릅니다. 하지만, 그 표준 소프트웨어가(그다지 놀랄 일도 아니지만..) MS Windows에 기반하고 있습니다. 실망할 필요는 없습니다- Linux에서도 마인드스톰을 사용할 수 있게끔 여러 도구(option)들이 Linux 유저들을 위해 마련되어 있습니다. 이 Mini-HOWTO는 그 도구들에 대해 아주 간단히 소개하고, 그 이상의 정보를 얻을 수 있는 방법까지 제공하려 합니다.
